
BOISE, Idaho — Highway 20 in eastern Oregon remains open to two-lane travel while road crews continue to repair damage and remove debris after a slide covered the roadway making it impassible on June 11.
The debris slide occurred roughly 10 miles east of Juntura, Oregon. Road crews worked day and night to clear more than 10,000 cubic yards of mud, rock, and debris. Road crews are continuing to clean the roadway and repair damages caused.
Drivers are asked to slow down and watch for road crews working in the area while cleanup operations continue. Speeds in the area have been reduced to 45 mph and two lanes of travel.
